Weather and Climate Enrichment Series: Fires, Floods and Resilience – July 16-18, 2018

We are excited to offer our Weather and Climate Enrichment Series, July 16-18, 2018. The course will be held at the Colorado State University Foothills Campus at the Atmospheric Science Department.
Weather, climate, and climate change are important topics in today’s society. This course is open to anyone interested in gaining more knowledge and a better understanding of fires, floods and and how we can adapt to these natural phenomena.
In this 3-day course, participants will acquire an understanding of how weather and climate relate to floods and fires. We will also consider the steps to take for adaption and resiliency. Subject-matter experts from across the Colorado Front Range will lead guest lectures and activities on these topics. More information is available on the course website, here.
